About this issue

This 2026 stamp issue from Isle of Man Post Office celebrates 30 years since John McGuinness MBE first competed at the Isle of Man TT in 1996, marking one of the most successful and enduring careers in the history of the Mountain Course.

The six stamps are led by McGuinness’s association with the TT, depicting him in action on the Mountain Course. They also recognise his wider achievements in international road racing, featuring imagery from the North West 200 and the Macau Grand Prix, both important parts of his competitive legacy.

At the Isle of Man TT, McGuinness has achieved 23 victories, 47 podiums and a landmark 130mph lap during the 2007 Centenary Senior TT. These accomplishments define his status as one of the greatest competitors in the event’s history. His success at the North West 200, where he has recorded six wins on the high-speed Triangle Circuit, and his 2001 victory at the Macau Grand Prix further underline his versatility across the sport’s most demanding venues.

Still competing at the TT in 2026 with Honda Racing UK, McGuinness remains a central figure in modern road racing. This stamp issue presents a tribute to his enduring connection with the TT, while acknowledging a wider career across iconic international events.

Available as a Mint Set, Presentation Pack, First Day Cover, Signed Cover, Prestige Booklet and Booklet Pane, this issue is an essential addition for collectors and enthusiasts. The stamps celebrate 30 years since John McGuinness MBE made his TT debut.
